Children’s Week runs from May 1st to May 8th this year. The WoWhead.com guide has been updated but we are not seeing anything new for this year.
You are allowed to do quests or achievements for the event unless they break the rules of whichever challenge you are doing (for instance questing will count for quests for Blood Thirsty challengers). Since someone will ask it, I’ll say it: Doing the quests or achievements that require you to bring the orphan into a dungeon or battleground will get you flagged.
You can earn toys, battle pets and pet care packages for pet related things… these are all okay to earn for your account, however, you would still not be allowed to use those pets to level up your challenge character.
Congratulations to Asylunn for reaching 110 today, his first Iron Champion in Legion. This is the first Iron Champion title for the character, however, Asy has completed the challenge twice before: Asyluun at 100, a Night Elf Hunter in Warlords, and Asyiiron at 90, a Pandaren Hunter in Mists.
Asy went from 1 to 110 in a total /played of 7 days, 11 hours. In real time the Level 10-110 time was 51 days, 13 hours, 17 minutes, 34 seconds.
Asylunn is the 15th character to reach the top so far in Legion. He’s also the 5th Hunter and 3rd Pandaren.
Asy is known for his quick leveling and we’re very elated he was able to turn the corner and bring the title home. Congrats Asy!
Also, if you’re not sure, you can send Asy a quick tweet at @Asyluun and ask him if spec changes are allowed or not.
Big congratulations to Deidrevenw for attaining yet another Iron Champion title, becoming the first Warlock AND first Worgen to earn the title in Legion. This is the first Iron Champion title for the character, however, it’s the player’s 4th Iron Champion title this expansion (he also has the World First Blood Thirsty Champion title, also earned in Legion). Deidreven also boasts a repertoire of 7 Iron Champion titles over 4 characters (there might be more that we’re not aware of).
Egg Basket: The egg basket is in a bit of a grey area. It has an on-use effect that increases your speed by 60% for 10 seconds only during the Noblegarden event and only in areas where there are brightly coloured eggs found ie. starting zones. Since this is a white-quality piece of GEAR that is being equipped with a limited duration and limited area of use we’re going to say it’s allowed.
