Cranberry chutney and pumpkin pie, slow roasted turkey and spice bread stuffing, my oh my. A feast for your stomach, a feast for your eyes can only mean one thing, Pilgrim’s Bounty has arrived! This year, Pilgrim’s Bounty begins on November 25th and will wrap up on December 2nd. WoWHead.com has a full review of this event which you can find here.

The following information is for the Iron Man Challenge. For information on the challenge variants please see below.

New for 2019
At this time there does not appear to be any updates for Pilgrim’s Bounty this year.

A Wrinkle in Time
Please be aware some of the zones have undergone big changes throughout several expansions. In order for some of the higher level challengers to access the Pilgrim’s Bounty NPCs, the event’s bountiful tables, or find the wild turkeys you may need to locate Zidormi to turn back time for that zone.

Quests & Daily Quests
This holiday revolves around food therefore the quests and daily quests do as well. Several quests require players to cook and bring the items to NPCs. Due to cooking NOT being permitted for Irons those quests are NOT ALLOWED. Other quests allow players to cook or buy the items to bring to the NPCs. These quests are ALLOWED but you’ll need to purchase the required quest items directly off the Auction House. You may NOT trade with other players to get them and you may NOT send the cooked items to your challenger.

Completing the dailies will reward you with a Pilgrim’s Bounty. Inside there is a chance you could find the Frightened Bush Chicken pet, the Silver-Plated Turkey Shooter toy, a Fine Pilgrim’s Hat, a Turkey Shooter, or cooking recipes.

Bountiful Tables
The bountiful tables can be found in all major cities and towns with inns. Eating at these tables is ALLOWED for the purposes of completing the quests, however, please note that eating the same meal 5 times will give you buffs that are NOT ALLOWED and must be removed immediately. They are as follows: Feast On Cranberries, Feast On Pie, Feast On Stuffing, Feast On Sweet Potatoes, and Feast On Turkey. Additionally, the Spirit of Sharing buff which increases reputation gains by 10% for 1 hour is also NOT ALLOWED and must be removed pronto. This buff is received after eating 5 helpings of all the available foods at a bountiful table.

Feasting Finery, Feathered Friends, & Fun
You are ALLOWED to obtain the toy and pets from this event. Please remember that while you are allowed to add the pets to your journal, you are NOT ALLOWED to take part in any pet battles. The Frightened Bush Chicken pet and the Silver-Plated Turkey Shooter toy as mentioned above can be acquired from the Pilgrim’s Bounty reward. The Plump Turkey pet is awarded upon completion of the achievement Pilgrim. Completing this achievement is not possible for an Iron as you need to cook some of the holiday foods which is NOT ALLOWED. This pet can be put in a cage though so you might luck out and find it on the auction house.  As far as cosmetic items are concerned just follow the gear rules for your challenge.

WoW’s 15th anniversary celebration event is shaping up to be the biggest yet! This year the celebration will run from November 5th through January 7th for the Americas, November 6th through January 8th for Europe and November 7th through January 9th for Asia! A party this big needed a much bigger venue. You can find all of your anniversary event NPCs in the Caverns of Time! The Alliance can find a portal to Caverns of Time in their main portal room in the mage tower in Stormwind. The Horde’s portal to Caverns of Time is located down a ramp on the left-hand side just before you enter the main portal room in Orgrimmar. For a more in-depth look at the event please see WoWHead’s guide here.

The following information is for the Iron Man Challenge. For information on the challenge variants please see below.

The Anniversary Gifts
Logging in after the event goes live will reward you with an achievement. You’ll also receive an in-game mail with special event goodies. This year’s anniversary gift contains the following:
– The battle pet Lil’Nefarian. While you are ALLOWED to add this pet to your collection pet battling with your challenger is NOT ALLOWED.
– The Celebration Package when used will increase all experience and reputation gains by 15% until the event ends. This item is NOT ALLOWED.
– A Celebration Firework. This item does not appear to have any buffs associated with it and is ALLOWED.
– An Invitation from the Timewalkers. This starts a quest that will bring you to the Memories of Azeroth raid. Completing this questline will give you an item you can use to teleport to Caverns of time for the length of the event. There is a minimum level required to start this quest. During our testing, you needed to be level 60+ to complete the first part of this quest. At this time we are not sure if anyone lower then level 60 can start this quest. It does not award any experience, just more of a breadcrumb to lead you to the Caverns of Time. The next part of the chain takes you to the event’s battleground which is a no go for you. You do not need to do this quest to access the vendors or trivia historians. You can use the portal to Caverns of Time. The Alliance can find a portal to Caverns of Time in their main portal room in the mage tower in Stormwind. The Horde’s portal to Caverns of Time is located down a ramp on the left-hand side just before you enter the main portal room in Orgrimmar. Yes, you can use the portal to get there at level 1.

Vendor Items
There are a few new items available from the vendors scattered around the Caverns of Time. The Sugary Soul Shard, the Spellstone Delight, and the Ookerdooker Elixir. These are NOT ALLOWED and should be avoided with your challenger. Also available are special 15th anniversary balloons. These come in BlueRed. and are a one-time use item but you can have up to 20 in your bag. For those feeling a bit mischievous, you can purchase Sharpened Pins to pop the balloons. Both of these items are ALLOWED.

Trivia
Don’t panic if you can not find Historian Llore or Historian Ju’pa in your factions main city. They are located in the Caverns of Time this year. Take the portal to Caverns of Time from your faction’s main city. The Alliance can find a portal to Caverns of Time in their main portal room in the mage tower in Stormwind. The Horde’s portal to Caverns of Time is located down a ramp on the left-hand side just before you enter the main portal room in Orgrimmar. You can use this portal at level 1. Once you get to the bottom of the cavern stand in front of Chromie and turn to your right. Travel a little ways around the circle and you’ll come across them. The trivia question is a daily quest once again!

Battleground: Alterac Valley of Olde
A new event for this year’s anniversary celebration is a version of the Alterac Valley battleground. This sounds like a lot of fun for your mains and alts but battlegrounds are NOT ALLOWED for your challenger.

Memories of Azeroth
Another new event for this year is the Memories of Azeroth raid. You’ll have to experience this event on your main and alts because raids are NOT ALLOWED for your challenger.
