New for 2020
According to WoWHead, there doesn’t seem to be anything new for 2020 that we as challengers need to worry about.
Travel Advisory for All Challengers
Please be advised that Crown Chemical Co. mobs are out and about in some of the zones throughout Azeroth. Use caution while you are on your challengers. While we can confirm these mobs to be found in the following locations there could be more out there that we missed:
– Crystalsong Forest north of the lake on Dragonblight road
– Elwynn Forest near Westbrook Garrison
– Darkshore just south of the Grove of Ancients
– Durotar east of Orgrimmar Gate
– Duskwood just south of Darkshire as you are leaving town
– Dustwallow Marsh just north of Theramore
– Hillsbrad Foothills west of the Sludge Fields
– Hinterlands on the road between Aerie Peak and Quel Danil Lodge
– Silverpine Forest at Pyrewood Village(scaling to 120)
– Terrokar Forest east of Shattrath

Quests & Daily Quests
There are a number of quests and daily quests available for this event. Please remember while something may be allowed it does not mean it is always a good idea. Any holiday quests you are unfamiliar with should be tested before attempting with a challenger. There are also a few things that should be made note of:
– The quest Man on the Inside looks like it gets turned in to an NPC inside Shadowfang Keep. While you are ALLOWED to turn a quest in that is located in a dungeon remember you are NOT ALLOWED to kill any bosses inside.
– The quest You’ve Been Served is NOT ALLOWED. This quest involves killing the event dungeon boss.
– The quests Follow the Recipe(H)/Follow the Recipe(A) reward 3 Crown Co. “Kure-Everything” Tonics. It doesn’t cure anything and is listed as a potion. This item is best left to normal characters. Remember to think before you drink!
– Depending on where you are in your leveling process you may need to find Zidormi to turn back time in order to complete some quests or access certain mobs and NPCs.

In order to collect Lovely Charms, you’ll need to pick up a Lovely Charm Collector’s Kit from Kwee Q. Peddlefeet. He’ll be close to the Lovely Merchant and Public Relations Agent in the major cities. You’ll need to obtain 10 of the Lovely Charms in order to make a Lovely Charm Bracelet. These bracelets will be needed in order to complete the gift-giving dailies. You are ALLOWED to complete these dailies. You are NOT ALLOWED to trade with other players for the bracelets as this counts as outside help.
Apothecary Hummel
The Love is in the Air holiday event does have a dungeon boss, Apothecary Hummel. This dungeon boss located in Shadowfang Keep is off-limits as dungeons are NOT ALLOWED.
Lovely Cards
The dailies that involve gifting various faction leaders Lovely Charm Bracelets award you lovely cards along with Love Tokens. These lovely cards(for example Lovely Stormwind Card) when used will place a buff on your challenger. The buffs from these cards are NOT ALLOWED.
Sweet Treats
Sweet treats and specialty items are always a fun addition to holiday events. However, a lot of this event’s sweet treats and specialty items are against challenge rules. The following items are NOT ALLOWED due to the buffs that come along with them:
– “Bravado” Cologne
– “STALWART” Cologne
– “Wizardry” Cologne
– “Enchantress” Perfume
– “Forever” Perfume
– “VICTORY” Perfume

Classic
For those challengers looking to participate in Love is in the Air with your Classic Irons you may want to reconsider. The event will run on Classic servers from February 11th through February 16th. The event is very different compared to the event on the retail servers. It looks like no experience points are awarded for completing any of the tasks required. You will be able to complete gift sets to obtain buffs but those buffs are NOT ALLOWED for your Irons. More info on the Classic version of Love is in the Air can be found on WoWHead.com here.
