Congratulations to Ferrekessaa on becoming our 10th Shadowlands Pacifist Challenge champion! Ferrekessaa’s Pacifist journey has had many chapters. The length of her journey over the course of several expansions has taken approximately 1,329 days. Her overall /played time comes in at 23 days, 5 hours, and 9 minutes. Having previously reached Pacifist champion status at level 120, we were able to estimate Ferrekessaa’s leveling time through levels 50 to 60 at 1 day and 5 hours.
Ferre is one of our veteran challenge players so it comes as no surprise this is not her first max-level challenger in this expansion. Ferrekessaa is her 3rd Pacifist champion and her 6th Shadowlands max-level challenger across multiple challenges.
When we asked Ferre why she chose the Pacifist Challenge for Ferrekessaa, she answered simply “I love my pacifists!”
Ferre made Ferrekessaa a Night Elf Rogue. She said, “I prefer stealth classes for pacifists and like the crowd control of a Rogue, especially for those who leveled to 120 by doing archeology.”
Ferre took the following leveling path with Ferrekessaa: “This particular Pacifist leveled to 120 primarily with archeology after level 90 or so. She actually took her time at it because she was farming in Uldum for the Vial of the Sands (the dragon mount that you create with Alchemy.”
“After farming up the extensive list of materials that would be required (via mining, herbing, fishing), she dropped the Mining profession and leveled up Alchemy enough to be able to create the recipe (which she actually got after not too much archeology farming. She was VERY lucky in that).”
“When SL launched, she continued some archeology, but not a lot. When it became possible to skip the Maw, she went to SL and joined the Night Fae. Having the Alchemy profession proved to be really good in that the World Quests are easy (and require leveling SL Alchemy only to 25 to get them.)”
“In SL zones, she leveled mainly with WQs (including professions) and some herbing. By this time, cooking/fishing dailies in SW and holiday quests were giving experience again. So she added those in (and of course the DMF profession quests.)”
When we asked Ferre if she had any close calls while leveling Ferrekessaa she said, “Not between 50-60. As I recall there were some DC issues on the way to 120.”
Ferre has the following advice for others thinking of trying out the Pacifist Challenge: “Be fluid with your profession choices. At this point you don’t need any particular level of a profession to do the DMF quests, so it’s worth it to change those up sometimes. I do tend to keep herbing though, as I’ve found it useful in SL zones. I highly recommend taking one of the production professions for SL dailies.”
What’s next for Ferre? Will she be taking a break or moving on to the next challenger? Ferre said she has “Ongoing Pacifist, Iron, Working Man, and Green Man challengers.”
We wish Ferre the best of luck with her challengers and congratulations on Ferrekessa becoming our 10th Shadowlands Pacifist champion!
