Congratulations to Valeriðs for reaching max level and making them the 56th Dragonflight Iron Man Challenge champion. Valeriðs’ journey was 3 days, 1 hr, 16 min, 9 secs, with a /played of 20 hr, 11 mins, 41 secs.
This is the second max level Iron challenger for Valeriðs.
Why did you choose this challenge to play? ” I am a Role-Player and I love the Iron Man immersion. I did the same challenge the past week with my Hunter, Enisse. In lore she is the ex-girlfriend of this character, and they will be my co-mains so he can’t stay behind,” mentioned Valeriðs.
What race/class/spec did you choose to go with and were there any specific reasons for that choice? Valeriðs said, “I chose Ret Paladin for this challenge because I love the fantasy of the class. I am Paladin on all fantasy universes, so feel that immersion in the undead zones while I’m leveling its beautiful.”
What path did you take to level and were there specific reasons for those choices? “This time I did it different. I chose to do Elwynn, Arathi, The Hinterlands, both Plaguelands, part of Twilight Highlands, (big mistake never go to that zone), and finally Azure in Dragon Isles. If I am going to play a Paladin, I love the fantasy of fighting against shadow and undead, and also Valeriðs is from Lordaeron, so he was fighting for his kingdom,” mentioned Valeriðs.
Did you have any close calls while leveling this character? “Yea, I had some in Eastern Plaguelands, (pretty epic), in Twilight Highlands, (more because of buggy zones), and in Azure against the Gnolls. The Ret was so much harder to keep alive, to chose between healing or damage in comparison with the Hunter!”
Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out Iron Man challenge? Valeriðs said, “Beware of the Lvl 30-40 breach, and the 60-70. I felt that range the most difficult in all the journey, and if you can avoid Cataclysm zones do it lol. Never go to Twilight Highlands!”
Are you working on any other challengers or do you plan on taking a break for a while? “Well I lied the last time I said that I was going to take a break and I did this. But this time with TWW so close I will take a break, and enjoy my two new mains, who are more valuable to me because they are Iron Man champions!!” Valeriðs mentioned.
Congratulations once again to Valeriðs on becoming our 56th Dragonflight Iron Man champion, and best of luck with your future challenge adventures.
