Congratulations to Xerathoff for reaching max level and making them the 50th The War Within Iron Man Challenge champion. Xerathoff’s total journey was 272 days, 9 hrs, 47 mins, 19 secs, with a /played of 23 hrs, 29 mins and 22 secs.
This is Xerathoff’s first Max Level Champion in The War Within expansion. “I’ve attempted similar challenges before, but this is the first one I managed to complete all the way to Level 80,” Xerathoff mentioned.

Why did you choose this challenge to play? Xerathoff said, ” I started the Iron Man challenge because a close friend encouraged me to try it. Although his run ended at Level 71, I decided to continue and finish the challenge we originally started together.”

What race/class/spec did you choose to go with and were there any specific reasons for that choice? Xerathoff said, ” I played a Night Elf Beast Mastery Hunter because it felt like a safe and reliable choice for a first Iron Man character. Tools like Freezing Trap and Feign Death provided extra control and escape options when things went wrong.”

What path did you take to level and were there specific reasons for those choices? “I leveled through a variety of zones, including Darkshore, Stranglethorn Vale, and Grizzly Hills, then continued through Dragonflight content up to Level 70. I chose zones that felt familiar and relatively safe for steady progression. This was my first character attempt in this challenge, so I don’t have a previous champion to compare it to. My leveling was very different compared to how I would normally level a standard character.”  

Did you have any close calls while leveling this character? Xerathoff said, “I don’t recall many specific moments, but I did have one close call in the northern part of Stranglethorn Vale that could have easily ended the run.”

Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out Iron Man Challenge? “Take your time and respect the danger. Don’t rush pulls and always have an escape plan,” Xerathoff mentioned.

Are you working on any other challengers or do you plan on taking a break for a while? Xerathoff said, “I plan to take a short break, but I’m interested in trying the challenge again with other characters in the future.”
