New for 2021
At the time of this posting, there does not appear to be any new changes that will be of concern to our challengers. Do be mindful that this is the first time this event has run since the level squish. Mobs could potentially hit harder than they did before. In some areas, you may need to talk to Zidormi in order to access the event’s mobs.

The following information is for the Iron Man Challenge. For information on the other challenge variants please see below.

Quests and Daily Quests
You may complete all of the quests and daily quests for this event except for Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance). This quest drops from Coren Direbrew in Blackrock Depths and you are NOT ALLOWED to participate in dungeons.
Please be advised, while all quests and daily quests are allowed, the Pink Elekks on Parade quest may pose a risk above level 49. At level 50 and above when clicking on the portal to Darnassus you will be redirected to Darkshore. From level 50 and up this zone becomes a warfront area. If the opposite faction is in control you will be PvP flagged. You will need to talk to Zidormi to return Darkshore and Darnassus back to their former glory in order to complete this quest at those levels.

Invasions
There are now three different invasion dailies that can occur at your Brewfest camp location. They are as follows: Hozen Totem, Contained Alemental, and Direbrew Cog. It appears that you will only be able to turn in one of these three per day. While all daily quests are ALLOWED please keep in mind that the mobs that spawn during these dailies can pack a punch. You may want to keep clear until the quest item becomes available to grab.

Brewfest Enthusiast
At 6:15 AM & 6:15 PM Pacific time Mekkatorque and Saurfang will give speeches near their camps. At the end of the speech, they will then cast the Brewfest Enthusiast buff on those in the area. This buff has a two-hour duration and increases experience by 10%. This buff is NOT ALLOWED! If you are in the area when the buff is applied simply right-click it off.

Coren Direbrew
Coren Direbrew is this event’s main boss and since he is located in Blackrock Depths you are NOT ALLOWED to participate in his slaying.

Cosmetics, Toys, and Pets
Most of the cosmetic items have been turned to uncommon quality (green) so those are NOT ALLOWED. There are a few common quality (white) items still in place but please do be careful with these. Do not leave them on. Should you have them on and they get upgraded to uncommon quality (green) in the future you will get flagged.
There are several toys and a few pets available for you to spend your event tokens on. Remember while all toys may be ALLOWED any buffs they give you need to be removed ASAP and even though you are allowed to pick up any missing pets from your collection you are NOT ALLOWED to pet battle with your challengers!

Pacifist
– All of the event’s quests & daily quests are ALLOWED except for Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance).
– Please be advised, while all quests and daily quests are Pacifist safe and allowed, the Pink Elekks on Parade quest may pose a risk above level 49. At level 50 and above when clicking on the portal to Darnassus you will be redirected to Darkshore. From level 50 and up this zone becomes a warfront area. If the opposite faction is in control you will be PvP flagged. You will need to talk to Zidormi to return Darkshore and Darnassus back to their former glory in order to complete this quest at those levels.
– While the invasion dailies are ALLOWED you may want to wait them out at a safe distance before grabbing the quest item off the ground to avoid any potential prox kills.
– You are NOT ALLOWED to kill anything so no, you may not participate in the slaying of Coren Direbrew.
– The Brewfest Enthusiast buff is NOT ALLOWED.
– You are ALLOWED to obtain the cosmetic items, toys, and pets but do remember to follow your gear rules, click off any buffs toys might give you, and no pet battles.

Blood Thirsty
– You are NOT ALLOWED to complete any of this event’s quests. Sorry, this event is not for you.

The following information is for the challenge variants that are currently untrackable. We have decided to include these guidelines for those who are participating in them as a personal challenge. We’re hopeful that one day we’ll be able to offer them as a trackable option once again.

Tin Man
– All of the event’s quests & daily quests are ALLOWED except for Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance).
– Please be advised, while all quests and daily quests are allowed, the Pink Elekks on Parade quest may pose a risk above level 49. At level 50 and above when clicking on the portal to Darnassus you will be redirected to Darkshore. From level 50 and up this zone becomes a warfront area. If the opposite faction is in control you will be PvP flagged. You will need to talk to Zidormi to return Darkshore and Darnassus back to their former glory in order to complete this quest at those levels.
– Dungeons are NOT ALLOWED so you may not participate in the slaying of Coren Direbrew.
