Congratulations to Asyy on becoming our 25th Shadowlands Iron Man Challenge champion! Asyy’s Iron journey took 15 days with a /played time of 3 days and 48 minutes.

While Asy has had several max level challengers across different expansions, this is his first max level Iron of Shadowlands.

Asy chose to play the Iron Man Challenge because he was bored with normal WoW and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Asy chose the following leveling path for challenger Asyy: “Stuck with Azeroth Pandaland, Elwynn Forrest, Dun Morogh, Westfall, Redridge (part), Duskwood, Loch Modan, Arathi, Hinterlands, Badlands, and Searing Gorge. Once through the Maw, Threads of Fate and selective world quests and bonus objectives and grinding. No particular reason for that path just that I know it really well.”

Did Asy have any close calls while leveling Asyy? “A couple of times when mobs attack/put a dot on you whilst your pet has aggro and got down to 5% hp several times.”

Asy has the following advice for others trying out the Iron Man Challenge: “Don’t worry about weapons/gear too much. I used the same gear and weapon from level 20 to 60. Be aware of what quests/world quests and mobs do so there are no surprises and you know the risk.”

What’s next for Asy? Is it time for a break or time to jump back in with another challenger? “Not sure what I will do. Maybe another Hunter to give me another toon, maybe other classes. I have a 38 pally but it’s soooo slow lol.”
