Congratulations to Cinq, our 13th Dragonflight Pacifist Challenge champion!

Congratulations to Cinq for reaching max level and making her the 13th Dragonflight Pacifist Challenge champion. Cinq is Tiber’s second max level Challenge champion, with her journey being 204 days, 12 hrs, 1 min, 31 sec, and a /played of 2 days, 9 hours, and 5 minutes. Tiber has achieved Challenge champions during Shadowlands expansion: four Pacifists – Sappyboy, Lantanna, Sneakee, and Peaceable; one Green Man – Celladon, and one Iron Man – Mendacity.

Tiber said, “I rolled Cinq to participate in the Honoring Five Pacifist Style contest. Cinq is French for five, and I believe is pronounced like sahnk. Cinq was my third attempt in the Five contest.  She is only my second contest character to finish a contest alive, and my first contest character to finish in the top 10 entries, finishing in 6th place in the Five contest. The Night Elf race was required for the contest. I chose the Rogue class to give myself the best advantage in leveling for the contest. The Night Elf racial Shadowmeld is really nice for Pacifist Rogues, before they get the Vanish ability. During the contest, I leveled Cinq much more actively than most of my Pacifist characters. Herbing, Mining, and running (hopefully) Pacifist safe quests, to keep up with the other contestants. After the contest, I stepped away from the contest rules, and continued leveling Cinq with Fishing, and Cooking dailies, Darkmoon Faire quests, and holiday events. I couldn’t resist all the XP available for extinguishing Horde flames during the Fire Festival. Nobody really came after me, but I greatly appreciate Ster’s tips on the safest way to douse flames. I didn’t know you could remount, before clicking the extinguish button.  Between the event dailies and the fires, Cinq leveled from 60 to 66 during the Fire Festival event.”

Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out Pacifist Challenge? Tiber mentioned, “I’d encourage anyone thinking of trying the Pacifist Challenge to give it a try. It makes you look at the game of WoW in a completely different way.  As soon as you open a quest and it says, “You need to kill seven…” Click, close that one! Also, while playing Pacifist, Darkmoon Faire and Holiday Events are your friend. Try to buy the Darkmoon Faire quest items cheap on the AH between Faire weeks.”

Are you working on any other challengers or do you plan on taking a break for a while? “I’m currently playing an Iron Man character for the Classic Iron contest,” says Tiber. “I also have another Iron Man, and two of my Level 60 Pacifist Champions, that are making their way towards 70.”

Congratulations once again to Tiber on Cinq becoming our 13th Dragonflight Pacifist Challenge champion, and best of luck with your future challenge adventures.
