Congratulations to Evimakalu for reaching max level and making them the 18th The War Within Green Man Challenge champion. Evimakalu’s total journey took 479 days, 20 hrs, 34 min, 53 sec, with a /played of 12 hrs, 32 mins. 
Is this your first max level challenger? If you’ve had others could you please refresh our memory with who they were and what challenge they were in? Evi said, “No. I’m a bit of a slave to the Green Man Challenge so this one makes ten completed Green Man toons in TWW, four of which are repeats from Dragonflight.”
Why did you choose this challenge to play? Evi mentioned, “It’s such a good time to level characters at the moment with the way the experience has been reduced in TWW, and I’d made a resolution a while back to try and get every class done in Green Man. Better late than never on this one, but we got there eventually.”
What race/class/spec did you choose to go with and were there any specific reasons for that choice? “This one was a Pandaren Shaman. A few years back for my birthday I was given a meet and greet experience with a lovely little red panda named Makalu, (after the mountain in the Himalayas), who was the sweetest little guy ever. I thought it appropriate for my next panda toon to also be red-furred and share the same name. Here is the original and the best The original Makalu included below because how could you not love the little guy.” 
What path did you take to level and were there specific reasons for those choices? Evi said, “After finishing through The Wandering Isle, I went back to Stormwind and on to Legion content. After unequipping my artifact weapon, Makalu cleared through Val’sharah and Highmountian. With the release of Legion remix, doing even more legion content seemed like a bad idea so off to the Dragon Isles we went, doing most of The Waking Shore and my favourite spot on the Isle, Ohn’ahran Plains. By this time, Level 70 was hit and it was time to go clean up The War Within. A good chunk of quests in the Isle of Dorn later and max level was hit, easy as!”
If this was not the first challenger of yours in this specific challenge to reach max level, did your leveling path differ from previous champions and if so why? “Legion is an uncommon path for me to take. While the quests there are quite good and the zones well designed overall, its just hard with the artifact weapons; meaning you never get any weapon upgrades at all. It was one I hadn’t done for a while though so gave it a whirl until Legion Remix, then moved on to other favourite zones before finishing out in the best The War Within zone as well,” Evi mentioned.
Did you have any close calls while leveling this character? “No massive ones, a few little panic moments here and there but in the end the Shaman has pretty good utility and defensives to get through.”
Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out Green Man challenge? Evi said, “Take it easy, turn the in game music up, and have a good time playing WoW like we all used to. Green is such a good way to see the world and learn a bit about a class, make the most of it.”
