Congratulations to Ferreday, Our 13th Shadowlands Pacifist Challenge Champion!

Congratulations to Ferreday on becoming our 13th Shadowlands Pacifist Challenge champion! Ferreday’s Pacifist journey took 592 days, 21 hours, and 38 minutes, with a /played time of just over 8 days. Having previously reached Pacifist champion status at level 120, we were able to estimate Ferreday’s leveling time from levels 50 through 60 to be approximately 24 hours.

Ferreday is Ferre’s 9th max level challenger across multiple challenges and her 6 Pacifist champion this expansion.

Ferre tells us she chose to play the Pacifist Challenge this time because “I love my pacifists!”

Ferreday was chosen to be a Human Subtlety Rogue. “I wanted to try a non-NE Pacifist, and really like the crowd control and escape options offered by a Rogue. The drawback is that the levels at which the abilities Vanish and Blind were available were increased, so early levels required some care. Fortunately, Sap was available fairly early.”

Ferre chose the following leveling path for Ferreday: “Up to level 85 or so (during BfA), she leveled by gathering, exploration, treasure hunting, and non-violent quests (including holidays and DMF). After that, she did mainly archaeology up to level 120.”

“With the launch of SL, it didn’t appear that pacifists would be able to get to SL zones, so she continued doing archaeology for a couple of levels (using rested exp only). Once the Maw skip became available, she did Threads of Fate, joining the Night Fae. She also dropped mining and learned SL alchemy. The profession WQs were easy regardless of their zone – by contrast with the mining WQs which are not all pacifist safe. She leveled from her early 50s to 60 by a combination of WQs, limited herbing, holidays, and cook/fish dailies.”

When we asked Ferre if she had any close calls while leveling Ferreday she responded with “Not really.”

Ferre has the following advice for those trying out the Pacifist Challenge: “Feel free to change up professions at will, up to level 50. The DMF profession quests don’t require any specific skill levels. Once you hit level 50, the SL profession WQs require SL level 25 in the particular profession. Fortunately, the materials for reaching level 25 are inexpensive on the AH (at least on my server). SL fishing can be leveled in any of the major cities on Azeroth and at the DMF – so I got to level 25 fishing without fishing in SL before the WQs were available.”

What’s next for Ferre? Will she be taking a break or will she be moving on to the next challenger? “…Ongoing Pacifist, Iron, Working Man, and Green Man challengers.”

We wish you the best of luck with your challengers and congratulations once again on becoming our 13th Pacifist Challenge champion with Ferreday!
