Congratulations to Ferrenyys on becoming our 4th Shadowlands Pacifist Challenge champion! Ferrenyys reached max level in 136 with a /played time of 4 days, 8 hours, and 57 minutes.
Ferrenyys is Ferre’s 3rd Shadowlands max level challenger. Her other max levels are a Rogue, also a Pacifist, and a Rogue Working Man. “This character was a replacement for the NE Druid Pacifist who got yellow-flagged during the first week of the SL expansion. At the time, I concentrated on getting my NE Rogue Pacifist to 60 but wanted to get a Druid started. She’s my first one to actually start in the SL expansion.”
Ferre chose the following leveling path for Ferrenyys: “For levels up to 50, she did a combination of gathering and paci-safe quests, as well as holidays. MY favorite gathering areas are Feralas and Pandaria (Valley of the Four Winds). I also like Pandaria for the dailies, including cooking/fishing. Post 50, archeology is the only profession that provides experience. Although it can be done in any of the pre-SL expansion zones, the best experience is still in the old world – EK, Kalimdor, Outland, and Northrend (including the Cata zones in those areas). Total exp per dig site is lower in the other expansion zones, so I didn’t do any of those. Those other expansion zones also have a chance to spawn mobs at the dig sites. I prefer Kalimdor (including Uldum and Hyjal. The main reason for this is simple – less trolls!! (And generally lower mob density at most of the sites).”
Were there any close calls while leveling Ferrenyys? “No, not really. Some latency/disconnect occurrences, but nothing really dangerous.”
Ferre has the following advice for those thinking of trying out the Pacifist Challenge: “Keep an eye on everything around you, including critters who might get in the way if you misclick. For me, the hardest ones to keep track of are snakes, especially the ones on the River Delta site in Uldum. (Most sites in Uldum are lovely – very few mobs. This one is annoying.)”
What’s next for Ferre? ” I’ve leveled a previously registered Working Man – holding at a few blocks from 60 at the moment. She did ‘oddball’ archeology, digging a lot in Pandaria and some in Legion and BFA areas. Being a Working Hunter she could deal with mobs that spawned, and the lower experience per site wasn’t really a concern. I got a lot of achievements! I also have a level 55 Iron Man Druid and Iron Hunter and Rogue at 50. Also, my Mage Pacifist might have started leveling from 50 (also on rested only).”
Best of luck with your other challengers Ferre and once again congratulations on Ferrenyys becoming our 4th Shadowlands Pacifist champion!
