Congratulations to Greenadin for reaching max level and making them the 16th The War Within Green Man Challenge champion. Greenadin’s total journey was 52 days, 2 hrs, 24 min, 27 sec, with a /played of 16 hrs, 13 mins, 12 secs. 

This is Ameshapa’s first The War Within Challenge Champion. 

Why did you choose this challenge to play? Ameshapa said, “I chose this challenge because I love it and I wanted to get a max before midnight.”

What race/class/spec did you choose to go with and were there any specific reasons for that choice? “He is a Human Paladin, mainly Prot for the survivability. I did try Ret for once to see how it was.”

What path did you take to level and were there specific reasons for those choices? Ameshapa said, “I started with the Human starting zone, of course was able to do every quest there. Then I moved him to Westfall and did every quest except the one that takes you into Deadmines, just in case it red flags me. Then I moved him to Deadridge and did every quest up to the first elite quest, then I moved him to Duskwood and did every quest there, including the elite quests there was one that was a little challenging – to kill Stitches. Then took Greenadin down to Strangethorn Vale and did every quest besides the ones that took him into the dungeon. Then took him up to Dunmorogh and did every quest besides the one that shoots you up, then I whent to Loch Modan and did every quest there and I hit Lvl 69. To finish getting to Lvl 70 I did the first set of quests for Wetlands, then when I got to The War Within I did some world quests for some gear which I was then able to do every quest in the first zone which got me to Lvl 76. I did quests in the second zone until I hit Lvl 80. My path is pretty much the same but sometimes I do all four starting zones before moving on to Westfall or Loch Modan.”

Did you have any close calls while leveling this character? “I did have a couple of close calls. The first was with Stitches and the second was while I was doing a world quest in Hallowfall where I had to kill the mushroom guys. Pulled too much and had to Bubble, Word of Glory, maybe even Flash Heal and then hit Divine Steed and got away!”

Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out Green Man challenge? Ameshapa said, “My advice is if you go to The War Within, either avoid doing quests with the mushroom guys or find the ones that aren’t grouped!”

Are you working on any other challengers or do you plan on taking a break for a while? Ameshapa said, “I’m planning on leveling the Bloodthirsty I started last year, and maybe getting Grenpewtwo to max before Midnight!”
