Congratulations to Ironluxx, our 43rd Dragonflight Iron Man Challenge champion!

Congratulations to Ironluxx for reaching max level and making them the 43rd Dragonflight Iron Man Challenge champion. This is Luxx’s first max level Dragonflight Challenge Champion. Ironluxx’s journey was 11 days, 19 hrs, 28 min, 1 sec, with a /played of 1 day, 13 hrs, 58 mins.
Here is Luxx’s email about Ironluxx Iron Man journey…

“First of all, Thank you, in every emotion I can portray. I curse you for creating this challenge, yet love it all the same!

The past few days have been the most anxiety inducing experience, I never want to go through again in WoW! I came across the challenge during a in game community managers meeting. (I am part of a Blizzard partnered Community and Guild called Starship). One of our custodians, Mattie is currently taking part in the challenge with a partnered Raider I.O stream taking place on the 16th April. After mentioning it, I had to give it a go along with a few other community members!

Deciding on a Warrior Gnome, my journey began in Gnomeregan before venturing into Dun Morogh then Loch Modan. Using my 16 years WoW experience, I hopped down to Goldshire, completing quests here, then moved into Redridge. My 1st, 2nd and 3rd near death experiences came here during the quests at Redridge canyons, Renders Camp and Althers Mill. Gnolls and many elite mobs roam here BEWARE…. If in doubt, abandon the quests and move areas! Westfall was next and Darkshore with minimal issues.

OUTLAND, OH Outland – STAY AWAY – I lost count of the near death encounters. Between mobs that scream for help, magic damage that hit like a truck, patrolling elites and ofc that BLOODY FEL REAVER. My questing here was short lived. As I was a wrath baby, I went to what I felt was a safe choice, Northrend. From Level 35ish I quested in my safe haven until Level 60 and moved into the Dragonflight zones. The dream event is your friend here, mobs that scream for help ARE NOT. I managed to get through to the last bar of 69, and in that last tiny bit of EXP required, I had so much more drama than in the entire route from 1-69! … while finishing off in Ohn’ahran plains so many near misses and curve balls!”

Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out Iron Man Challenge? Luxx said, “If in doubt, abandon the quests and move areas! Stick with what you know, avoid the unknown areas with leveling. At Level 60 in Dragonflight leveling zones, the dream event is your friend.”

Are you working on any other challengers or do you plan on taking a break for a while? “Taking a break for now. I am currently eyeing up a few others but not entirely sure which one I would attempt yet.”

Congratulations once again to Luxx on Ironluxx becoming our 43rd Dragonflight Iron Man champion, and best of luck with your future challenge adventures.
