Congratulations to Maygester for reaching max level on a Night Elf Mage, making her the 17th Dragonflight Iron Man Challenge champion. This is Ster’s tenth max level champion, and the very first Mage Iron Man in the Dragonflight expansion. With a total of 2 days of /played, Maygester hit max level in Shadowlands, thus this was a level 60 to 70 exercise over the course of just under a month. 

Maygester’s leveling path followed the same as other champions: loot chests in BfA until Level 64, do any Bonus XP quests in Shadowlands, and then do all the Dragon Races in Dragon Isles. This will get you to Level 66-67 easily. Next, chase the paci-safe quests in Dragon Isles. Wait, paci-safe quests? Yes, if the quest is safe for a Pacifist, it is generally safe for all other challenge types, like Iron Man.   

The climb to 70 went very fast, thanks to both the ongoing Winds of Sanctuary buff (bonus 50% XP!) and the holiday event Midsummer Fire Festival. Maygester got two levels just by going around to all the Alliance bonfires where they are available. There was no need to desecrate any Horde bonfires.   

Now is a a great time to level a challenger, as the bonus XP and Midsummer Fire Festival will leap you ahead in short order!
