Congratulations to Noharmdone on becoming our 18th Shadowlands Pacifist Challenge champion! Noharmdone’s Pacifist journey took 36 days, 2 hours with a /played time of 2 days and 7 hours to complete.
Noharmdone is Annette’s 1st challenger to reach max level! I have a lot of failed pacifists, at least 10 of them and the highest one I lost was level 58.5. I do also have a normal Iron Man Shaman named Irontwo. She was entered in a competition oh I think maybe 3 years ago and got to level 46 I believe when the competition ended. She’s not been leveled since. One day I might try and finish her.
Annette tells us ever since she found out about these challenges existing that she wanted to play a Pacifist. “It’s fascinating to me to make it to max level without killing anything when the game is basically made to kill stuff.”
Noharmdone was created as a Night Elf Guardian Druid. “I always made Night Elf Druids as I wanted the Shadowmeld racial of NE’s and stealth. And Druid for the flight form and I specced Guardian for the immunity to daze it gives.”
Annette used the following strategy to level Noharmdone: “I did the starting quests I could do in the starting zone. After that, the order was Azuremyst Isle, Bloodmyst Isle, Stormwind, Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Dun Morogh, and Loch Modan. After hitting level 20 I turned on Warmode and went to Thousand Needles and herbed/mined up to level 30 to get flying. After that, I went to Western Plaguelands and circled Darrowmere Lake herbing/mining to level 50.”
“In Shadowlands, I started in Ardenweald, then went to Revendreth, Mardraxxus, and lastly Bastion where I spent the most time mining/herbing and doing a few World quests. Did that up to level 57 and then I went to Kalimdor and did Archeology to level 58 and I finished up in Eastern Kingdoms with Archeology.”
Did Annette have any close calls while leveling Noharmdone? “Yes! Was in Maldraxxus to do a mining daily quest and it was very risky so ofc I got attacked and ran away but my Shadowmeld was on Cooldown and so many mobs in my way so I was pretty sure I was going to die there, but I managed to get out of it with very little hp left. That was the only close call on this character as I was really careful this time.”
Annette has the following advice for those trying out the Pacifist Challenge: “My advice would be to just try it if you ever just wondered about it. It is really different from the normal way of playing and be prepared for it to get grindy as you are mostly doing herbing/mining with some sprinkles of questing.”
What’s next for Annette? Will they be taking a break or perhaps working on another challenger? “I have my eyes on the Working Man Challange but I have not started another one yet. I might give my parked Iron Man a go and see if I can complete that. I am also wanting to try another class Pacifist. I do know that I will try another one at some point. This is too much fun to not keep doing.”
Good luck with your other challengers when you resume playing and congratulations once again on Noharmdone becoming our 18th Shadowlands Pacifist Challenge champion!
