Congratulations to Pacitrixi for reaching max level and making them the 24th Dragonflight Pacifist Challenge champion. This is Crimson’s fourth max level Dragonflight Challenge Champion. Pacitrixi’s journey was 19 days, 6 min, 6 sec, with a /played of 1 day, 22 hrs, 3 mins, 20 sec.
Crimson said, “I wanted to see if I could get to 70 without any kills. My previous Champion ended up with 8. I did have a failed attempt in between the two characters, that was lost to playing when tired and not being mentally present doing the Wash Over Them WQ which netted 38 kills. I was only thinking of my character’s safety and not the consequences.”
What class/spec did Crimson choose to go with Pacitrixi, and were there any specific reasons for that choice? “Gnome Rogue was my choice this time for Escape Artist, (which she ended up never using), and Sap, which made gathering much safer.”
What path did you take to level, and were there specific reasons for those choices? Crimson said, “Pacitrixi did a few non combat quests in Dun Morogh, then headed to Stormwind and Elwynn Forest for the errand quests and gathering. When there was competition and nodes were scarce, she headed up to Hillsbrad, grabbing the flight path in Aerie Peak first. Gathering was done in a wide circle around Durnholde Keep and just north of Dun Garok. Daily cooking and fishing quests were done in Stormwind.
Once she was able to fly, she did timewalking and gathered a bit in Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley but ended up going to Pandaria as the herbs and nodes were more plentiful in Valley of the Four Winds near Skyrange, and leveled to 61 there. This differed from my previous Pacifist as they did a lot of exploring from 40 – 61. From 61 to 70 some non combat quests and WQ’s were done, (avoiding zones with Hunts and Fyrak). Pacitrixi gathered a fair bit in Dragonlands but most leveling was done with Archeology in Eastern Kingdoms.”
Did you have any close calls while leveling this character? “There were not any close calls on this journey.”
Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out Pacifist Challenge? Crimson said, “I don’t think I have any original advice regarding leveling a Pacifist. It’s tedious so stay alert & research quests. Find an area you enjoy being in to gather.”
Are you working on any other challengers or do you plan on taking a break for a while? “I’m working on a Bloodthirsty and undecided on doing anything else for now.”
Congratulations once again to Crimson on Pacitrixi becoming our 24th Dragonflight Pacifist champion, and best of luck with your future challenge adventures.
