Congratulations to Passeyster for reaching max level, making her our 1st War Within Pacifist Challenge champion! Passeyster had dinged 70 back in 2022 and started playing this expansion just over 1 week ago with a additional /played time of 1 day and 7 hours. 

This is Ster’s first Max Level champion in The War Within expansion. Passeyster is an Night Elf Outlaw Rogue.

When asked to describe this Night Elf rogue, Ster said “I was both saddened and inspired to play a Pacifist out of respect for Ferre, the Pacifist Queen, who we lost a few weeks ago. So I re-did Passeyster at the barber shop to match Ferre’s favorite outfit, (Silver Dress Robes and purple hair) and set out to do some Archaeology and Treasure Hunting. At the same time, I’d work on a main scout to test The War Within waters so to speak – getting past the initial campaigns, getting some exploration/flight points in the Isle of Dorn.”

“I’ll just say this for other Pacifists – don’t be in a hurry to take your Pacifist over to The War Within area. Even though a Rogue can easily sneak around, I felt the risk of getting a proximity kill was too great. But when you do decide to head over to the Isle of Dorn, Xaya has started a thread on the WoW Challenges forum called “War Within: Pacisafe Quests” which is a must-read for Pacifist challengers. Passeyster pretty much stuck to Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor for this expansion.”

“What made this pacifist a little bittersweet was remembering all the good advice Ferre had passed on to the rest of us for Paci-leveling. Such as: watch where you click, stay away from elites, “if you can’t root it, don’t shoot it” – well, the Rogue version of that being “if you can’t SAP it, don’t TAP it”… So if you don’t mind archi as a way of leveling, your Paci can hit max level too.”

What’s next? Oh, just working on the main Irons – Elfster and Catster, both currently at level 71. The challenge with The War Within expansion at this stage is learning which quests are Iron-safe and which areas to avoid. So its a slow leveling process.”
