Congratulations to Passoneseven on becoming our 11th Battle for Azeroth Pacifist Challenge champion!
Mrmacman guided Passoneseven to max level in just under 108 days with a /played time of 6 days, 3 hours, and 56 minutes. This is also Mrmacman’s first ever max level challenger!
Getting started with the Pacifist Challenge can be a little tricky since the gathering professions do not become available until level 5. Mrmacman shared how he got started with us. “I chose to explore and do non-killing quests in all the starting zones: Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, and Draenei to level 5 where I could pick up the gathering professions. Having many failed attempts, I was quite familiar with these quests. Once I hit 5, I trained for mining/herbing to help the leveling process. Also, I trained for fishing/cooking and started the dailies at level 10. As soon as I hit 20 I trained for archaeology. I took full advantage of the summer event; it helped a great deal, especially since I had flying in all the zones.”
None of us ever want to experience a close call. Sometimes they can be due to our own missteps and other time they will be completely out of our control in the form of lag spikes and disconnects. Did Mrmacman have any close calls with Passoneseven? “Too many to count. I spent a lot of time running away. Unfortunately, I did have two non-killing blow kills due to pulling aggro.”
Mrmacman has the following advice for others wishing to give the Pacifist Challenge a try: “Take full advantage of the forum; ask questions before risking something. Watch your stats; it’s easy to disqualify yourself.”
What’s up next for Mrmacman? Will he be taking a break or is it time to dive back into another challenge? “I have a regular Iron Man that is currently 118; it’s taking me about 4-5 days to make each level. Also, I am working on classic attempt # seven.”
Best of luck on your classic and retail Irons, we’ll be cheering you on!
Congratulations once again on reaching max level with Passoneseven and becoming our 11th Battle for Azeroth Pacifist Challenge Champion!
