Congratulations to Priester on becoming our 11th Shadowlands Iron Man Challenge champion! This is Ster’s 6th max level Iron so far this expansion.
Priester started their Iron Man journey just before the launch of the Battle for Azeroth expansion during the pre-launch event. This journey was completed in just over 1,017 days with a /played time of 5 days and 1 hour. Overall, Ster thinks it took him approximately 2 months to go from level 50 to 60.
With Priest being a class that Ster is not that familiar with he tested out all of the specs before ultimately deciding to go with Discipline. The healing options and strength of the defensive shields were too good to pass up.
Priester was not able to do much killing in the Shadowlands specific zones. She had to rely on safe daily world quests and bonus objectives. When looking for XP, it helps to know which world quests and bonus objectives are Iron friendly options. Ster and Xaya tested many world quests and objectives and have compiled a list of those they felt fit the bill. That list can be found on our forums.
Additionally, this time out Ster chose to go with the Venthyr covenant to try out the Door of Shadows ability. “It was okay, but nothing special. I found I’d just Power Word Shield and run through mobs to get to where I needed to go. I probably shouldn’t divulge too much more about how I play a Priest, because I am a terrible Priest player and all of you will just chuckle at my misadventures.”
What’s next for Ster? “Currently I’m working on a Mage – yes, a Mage. At this point, I’m playing this toon to prove soft squishy toons like a mage can make it to the top as well. I keep saying, folks, if I can make it, you can too!”
Best of luck with your Mage Ster and congratulations on reaching max level with Priester and becoming our 11th Shadowlands Iron Man Challenge champion!
