Congratulations to Tazura for reaching max level, making him the 2nd Midnight Iron Man Challenge champion. This is Tazura’s first Midnight Challenge Champion, with the toon being a previous The War Within and Dragonflight Champion. Tazura’s journey was 771 days, 13 hrs, 10 min, 24 sec with a /played of 3 days, 13 hr, 17 mins. 
Why did you choose this challenge to play? Tazura said, “The Iron Man challenge is iconic!”
What class/spec did Tazura choose to go with, and were there any specific reasons for that choice? “Blood Elf Prot Warrior for the cool appearance and added protection. I will say, you are sacrificing serious damage by doing this though and it would take me a straight up minute or two to kill a single mob at times as a Prot Warrior.”
What path did you take to level, and were there specific reasons for those choices? Tazura said, “The campaign quests cut off relatively early in many instances, so I found myself having to rely on world quests for the bulk of the leveling and, unfortunately, there are no easy skyriding world quests scattered about this expansion! Instead, there are actually a few sketchy world quests I didn’t even bother with. This led to a very slow and arduous journey to max level.”
Did you have any close calls while leveling this character? “I disconnected twice during fights against multiple mobs and only survived due to Second Wind, and a few defensive Prot talents such as Ignore Pain buying my character enough time to despawn – it takes about 30 seconds for the character to despawn after a dc.”
Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out the Iron Man challenge? Tazura said, “There are a handful of world quests in each zone and the questlines cut off early due to requiring Delves and Dungeons. So my advice is to get as many characters to max before trying this!”
Are you working on any other challengers, or do you plan on taking a break for a while? Tazura mentioned, “Definitely gonna take a break for a little bit, very proud to have gotten second place in the Iron Man this expansion though!”
