The following information is for the Iron Man Challenge. For information on the other challenge variants please see below.

New for 2019
Looks like the only thing new for this year was an update to the item level of the loot dropped by the Headless Horseman from the dungeon event and doesn’t really pertain to us.

Quests & Daily Quests
You may complete all of the quests and daily quests that are offered for this event.

Apple Bobbing
In the starting zone towns, you will find water barrels with apples in them where you can bob for apples. These apples will return 3% of your health and mana over 25 seconds while eating and do not provide any buffs. Feel free to stock up on them but do keep in mind this item will vanish from your bags once the event is over.

A Stinky Situation
You are ALLOWED to participate in the following quests: Stink Bombs Away! (Alliance), Clean Up in Stormwind, Stink Bombs Away! (Horde), and Clean Up in Undercity. Please do keep in might that these quests might cause you to be PVP flagged for a brief amount of time so exercise caution.

The Wickerman
You are ALLOWED to complete the Wickerman quest however the buff Unburdened (Alliance) or Grim Visage (Horde) is NOT ALLOWED. This buff provides a bonus to experience and reputation right-click it off immediately.
Additionally, every 4 hours an announcement will be made throughout Stormwind and Undercity signifying an RP event will be starting in 10 minutes that takes place by the Wickerman statue. At the end of the RP event, Genn or Sylvanas will buff nearby players with either Greymane’s Resolve or Decree of the Dark Lady. These buffs are NOT ALLOWED! Ideally, you should leave the area when the announcement is made about the event starting soon. If you do happen to get the buff on you it needs to be removed at once.

Headless Horseman Town Event
For this event, the Headless Horseman will rain down terror upon the starting zone towns setting the buildings on fire. You will need to grab a water bucket and try to put the flames out and then the Headless Horseman will descend to the ground where everyone can attack him. Once defeated a pumpkin will appear on the ground for you to loot. You are ALLOWED to participate in this event however there are two things to make note of. First off after the Headless Horseman has been defeated you’ll receive a buff called “Victory”. This buff should be removed but can only be done so after leaving town. Secondly, please take care when the Headless Horseman is around. The fires he sets can kill your challenger. Due to the risk of the Headless Horseman killing your challenger, it might be best to wait out the encounter and run in to loot the pumpkin after it’s over.

Candy Buckets
You are ALLOWED to utilize the candy buckets that are scattered across the inns throughout Azeroth. It’s a great way to pick up some relatively easy XP but it will up the mileage on your mounts as this is a travel heavy activity. WoWHead has put together a complete list of candy bucket locations which can be found here. Don’t forget if you are a higher level challenger you may need to find and speak with Zidormi to turn back time in order to access candy buckets in some zones.
