The following information is for the Iron Man Challenge. For information on the other challenge variants please see below.

New for 2019
Several new things have been added for this year’s Brewfest including new Allied Race alcohol vendors and a water elemental selling refreshing water. The apple barrel locations have been slightly shifted and the Down With The Dark Iron event has been removed from the requirements needed to obtain the Brewmaster title. Instead, there are different types of invasions such as Hozen Totem or Contained Alemental. It has been brought to our attention that there is an updated Dark Iron invasion. These NPCs are hostile, seem to scale, and will inflict damage upon you. You may want to sit this event out and wait for the quest item, Direbrew Cog, to become available to grab. It is also possible that you may only be able to turn in one of the three invasion daily quests in a day.

Quests and Daily Quests
You may complete all of the quests and daily quests for this event except for Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance). This quest drops from Coren Direbrew in Blackrock Depths and you are not allowed to participate in dungeons.

Coren Direbrew
Coren Direbrew is this event’s main boss and since he is located in Blackrock Depths you are Not Allowed to participate in his slaying.

Brewfest Enthusiast
At 6:15 AM & 6:15 PM Pacific time Mekkatorque and Saurfang will give speeches near their camps. At the end of the speech they will then cast the Brewfest Enthusiast buff on those in the area. This buff has a 2 hour duration and increases experience by 10%. This buff is NOT ALLOWED! If you are in the area when the buff is applied simply right-click it off.

Cosmetics, Toys, and Pets
Most of the cosmetic items have been turned to uncommon quality (green) so those are NOT ALLOWED. There are a few common quality (white) items still in place but please do be careful with these. Do not leave them on. Should you have them on and they get upgraded to uncommon quality (green) in the future you will get flagged.
There are several toys and a few pets available for you to spend your event tokens on. Remember while all toys may be allowed any buffs they give you need to be removed ASAP and even though you are allowed to pick up any missing pets from your collection you are NOT ALLOWED to pet battle with your challengers!

Tin Man:
– All of the event’s quests & daily quests are allowed except for Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance).
– Dungeons are NOT ALLOWED so you may not participate in the slaying of Coren Direbrew.
– The Brewfest Enthusiast buff is NOT ALLOWED.
– You are allowed to obtain the cosmetic items, toys, and pets but do remember to follow your gear rules, click off any buffs toys might give you, and no pet battles.

Working Man:
– All of the event’s quests & daily quests are allowed except for Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance).
– Dungeons are NOT ALLOWED so you may not participate in the slaying of Coren Direbrew.
– The Brewfest Enthusiast buff is NOT ALLOWED.
– You are allowed to obtain the cosmetic items, toys, and pets but do remember to follow your gear rules, click off any buffs toys might give you, and no pet battles.

Green Man:
– All of the event’s quests & daily quests are allowed except for Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance).
– Dungeons are NOT ALLOWED so you may not participate in the slaying of Coren Direbrew.
– The Brewfest Enthusiast buff is NOT ALLOWED.
– You are allowed to obtain the cosmetic items, toys, and pets but do remember to follow your gear rules, click off any buffs toys might give you, and no pet battles.

Blood Thirsty
– You are NOT ALLOWED to complete any of this event’s quests. Sorry, this event is not for you.

Pacifist:
– All of the event’s quests & daily quests are allowed except for Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance). The new Contained Alemental event did not seem to incur any kills to my testing character. At the time of this article going up, I had not encountered the Hozen Totem event. You may want to scout that one before trying it with your Pacifist. You do not need to actively participate in the alemental event from what I’ve seen as the item that gives you the daily quest shows up once the invasion has been successfully dealt with. You can run in when it’s over, grab the quest and be on your way. The Hozen event most likely works the same way.
– It has been brought to our attention that an updated Dark Iron invasion does exist. The Dark Iron NPCs are hostile, seem to scale, and will inflict damage against you. You may want to sit this one out and wait for the Direbrew Cog quest item to become available to grab. Watch out for prox kills here.
– You are NOT ALLOWED to kill anything so no, you may not participate in the slaying of Coren Direbrew.
– The Brewfest Enthusiast buff is NOT ALLOWED.
– You are allowed to obtain the cosmetic items, toys, and pets but do remember to follow your gear rules, click off any buffs toys might give you, and no pet battles.

Iron Teams:
– All of the event’s quests & daily quests are allowed. You are ALLOWED to complete the Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Horde) & Direbrew’s Dire Brew (Alliance) if you have a full 5 man Iron Team to enter the dungeon with. If you do not have a full 5 man team you are NOT ALLOWED to use dungeon finder to fill out your group.
– Dungeons are ALLOWED so you may participate in the slaying of Coren Direbrew if you have a full 5 man Iron Team. You are NOT ALLOWED to use dungeon finder to fill out your group.
– The Brewfest Enthusiast buff is NOT ALLOWED.
– You are allowed to obtain the cosmetic items, toys, and pets but do remember to follow your gear rules, click off any buffs toys might give you, and no pet battles.

Green Teams:
