Congratulations to Ferrebear for reaching max level, making her the 18th Dragonflight Pacifist Challenge champion. This is Ferre’s seventh Dragonflight Pacifist Challenge Champion. Ferre also has two Iron Man challengers , one Green Man challenger and four Working Man challengers – all max level Dragonflight Champions. Ferrebear’s journey was 165 days, 22 hrs, 40 min, 32 sec, with a /played of 2 days, 8 hours and 10 minutes.
Ferre says, “Ferrebear had the good fortune to be able to take advantage of the short-lived ability to skip Exile’s Reach, so was able to avoid both that, and the Pandaran starting zone. As a Pacifist Panda, Ferrebear wants to tell her own story!”
This is Ferrebear’s story…
“First of all, I’m a Pandaran. And we Pandaran’s love our stories and our storytellers. Since I didn’t grow up on the Wandering Isle like most of my people, my story is unique!
My earliest memories are of turning up outside of Stormwind, with pretty much only the clothes on my back. The innkeeper there was kind and gave me a hearthstone so I could make a home for myself there. I did whatever people needed someone to do, in exchange for a bit of copper and for the experience of it all… be it carrying messages, or packages around town, or venturing out into the local countryside. It helped to be a Rogue, since I could sneak around undetected to deliver those messages!
As long as people didn’t ask me to kill things for them, no job was too small a task. I don’t feel good about the idea of killing things, although… I do like to fish and to eat, and I’m not vegetarian. I guess I won’t think about that too much.
Once I was a little older, I could train to be a Herbalist and a Miner. I’m not quite sure why I had to be a certain age before being able to pick flowers, but that was the way of it. More importantly, (to me at least), was that I could also learn to cook and fish!!! That was a great day! We Pandarans do like a good meal!
There was a Darkmoon Faire in Goldshire and I was able to get a bag to store everything I was collecting. Mostly, I sold the herbs and ore on the Auction House. I never realized how much people would pay for such common things!
After learning about Archeology, I tried it a little. But it’s really not for me. If I’m going to dig around in the dirt, I want to get crops out of it! Not broken pottery. That’s just me though.
I loved it when I was old enough to learn to fly and to travel to Pandaria! The villagers in Halfhill were so welcoming! I helped Farmer Yoon on his farm a lot. We grew some lovely veggies! And I learned to make some brews!
Holidays are the best! I like them all, but my favorites are Brewfest and Hallow’s Eve. Brewfest is a Pandaran’s dream holiday – I loved sampling all the brews and telling other people about them, racing around Ironforge on rams! And Trick or Treat needs no explanation! It was just FUN!
I spent a lot of time in Darnassus, mostly cooking and fishing there. My favorite part was cooking Ribs for the Sentinels! Those ribs were mouthwateringly delicious and the sentinels were always so appreciative, even asking for seconds!
One of my most recent adventures was to pay a quick visit to those Dragon Isles that everyone was talking about. I visited the huge city there, and got to see the Aspects. So big and so beautiful! I’d like to return there sometime!”
Congratulations once again to Ferre on Ferrebear becoming our 18th Dragonflight Pacifist Champion, and best of luck with your future challenge adventures.
