Congratulations to Lyari, our 5th Dragonflight Blood Thirsty Challenge champion!

Congratulations to Lyari for reaching max level and making them the 5th Dragonflight Blood Thirsty Challenge champion. Lyari’s journey was 1159 days, 18 hrs, 13 min, 28 sec, with a /played of 2 days, 15 mins.

Is this your first max level challenger? If you’ve had others, could you please refresh our memory with who they were and what challenge they were in? Lyari said, “Lyari did the Blood Thirsty Challenge. Lyari’s brother, Tazura and mentor Arven were both successful Iron Man Challengers.”

Why did you choose this challenge to play? Lyari said, “I started in Shadowlands and there was a point where this was my only active challenger so I thought I’d just try to finish him. It was so much mob grinding…”

What class/spec did Lyari choose to go with, and were there any specific reasons for that choice? “Blood Elf Ret Paladin, no specific reason. I regret not picking Hunter or Warlock though.”

What path did you take to level, and were there specific reasons for those choices? Lyari said, “I really just killed rare mobs until 61 then had to grind dragon frogs to max level. I took a lot of breaks throughout, barely managed to finish since there’s 11 days till The War Within lol.”

Did you have any close calls while leveling this character? Lyari mentioned, “No close calls honestly.”

Do you have any advice you would give to someone else thinking of trying out Blood Thirsty Challenge? Lyari said, “Do it as a class with a pet, (Warlock/Hunter/etc). It was rough as a Paladin, I’m not gonna lie.”

Are you working on any other challengers or do you plan on taking a break for a while? “Excited for The War Within, might make another Iron before that.”

Congratulations once again to Lyari becoming our 5th Dragonflight Blood Thirsty champion, and best of luck with your future challenge adventures.
