Congratulations to Xayapelli on becoming our 20th Shadowlands Pacifist Challenge champion! Xayapelli’s Pacifist journey took 56 days, 9 hours with a /played time of 2 days, 1 hour, and 52 minutes to complete. 

Xaya is one of our veteran challenge players. He’s had 10 Iron champions, 1 Blood Thirsty champion, 1 Working Man champion, 1 Green Man champion, 1 Tin Man champion, and Xayapelli brings his total Pacifist champions to 2 so far this expansion.

The Pacifist Challenge was Xaya’s challenge of choice this time because he wanted to see how a no stealth Pacifist would go. “But I forgot that mages get Invisibility at some point, which is a lot like stealth.”

Xayapelli was created as a Human Frost Mage. Xaya went with Human as the character’s race to avoid the Shadowmeld racial spell.

Xaya used the following strategy to level Xayapelli to 60: “Up to 30, I mostly did profession dailies, pick herbs and nodes, and quests that are easy to do without flight. Once I got flight, I tried to do all paci safe quests I could find (most can be found on the forums), while also doing dailies and events (DMF, orphans, noblegarden) and gathering some BfA chests.”

“At 50, hopped to Shadowlands with threads of fate, and did the few paci safe quests there, while waiting for paci safe world quests and continued profession dailies and gathering herbs and nodes.”

Did Xaya have any close calls while leveling Xayapelli? “Not really. But I often used Polymorph to pick a node or herb and run away until I lost aggro on a calculated risk. This became easier with Invisibility.”

Xaya has the following advice for others trying out the Pacifist Challenge: “Be very careful of aggro range and other players on pacis. Getting aggro could easily give you a proximity kill if someone is around and ‘helps’ you by killing the mob.”

What’s next for Xaya? Will he be taking a break for a while or does he have another challenger awaiting his attention? “I only have a no green Blood Thirsty at the moment.”
