Congratulations to Xayaredria on becoming our 32nd Shadowlands Iron Man Challenge champion! Xayaredria’s Iron Man journey took just under 36 days with a /played time of 1 day, 19 hours, and 55 minutes.

This is Xaya’s 9th Shadowlands Iron Man champion and his 11th overall max-level challenger this expansion. A few of his other champions include Xayarwinna, Xayarylin, and Xayaparo.

Xaya chose the Iron Man Challenge this time because he is trying to get one of every class to max level as an Iron Man.

Xaya tends to use the same leveling path for all of his challengers where he can. Adjustments are made along the way as needed but for the most part, this is how he leveled Xayaredria: “I used Chromie Time to 50, but since Iron monks have a hard time killing mobs at 30 I started to avoid combat as much as possible. Did WoD chests with flight at 30 as usual, but this time, instead of mostly doing exploration above 40, I did most of the paci safe quests in just about every zones. Started BfA chests at 50 to get to 51, then headed to Shadowlands and mostly did world quests. Brewfest and Hallow’s End helped a lot.”

Sharing where and when you’ve had a close call while leveling your challenger can really help out other players. It gives them an idea of what to watch out for if they happen to level through the same area. Did Xaya have any close calls while leveling Xayaredria? “The one I remember was thru the maw, got too close to the Ruiner and his DoT almost killed my toon. Also had to use SM a few times in Shadowlands.”

Xaya has the following advice for others thinking of trying out the Iron Man Challenge: “Scouting is the key. Especially at high levels, many mobs just cannot be killed. Find out what you can kill and what will kill you”

What’s next for Xaya? Will he be taking a break or jumping back in on another challenger? “I still don’t have a champion shaman, she’s now at 56. I also wanna do the covenant campaigns for all 4 covenants, already got Night Fae and Undying Army, working on Kyrian and Court of Harvesters.”
