This year’s Love is in the Air event has begun! The Love is in the Air event will run from Feb 5th until Feb. 20th. New for 2024
A lot has changed this year. The quest hub is now just outside Stormwind or Orgrimmar. The old dailies have been replaced, there are many new items that can be bought, and some new quests. There are also portals in major cities to teleport to the quest hub (the Gala of Gifts). Lovely charms and lovely bracelet have been removed, and some new toys, mount, pet and cosmetics items have been added.
Challenger Travel Advisory
Please be advised that Crown Chemical Co. mobs are out and about in some of the zones throughout Azeroth. Regardless of your challenge of choice, you should use caution while traversing throughout the game. There could be mobs in the following locations but we probably missed some places:
– Crystalsong Forest north of the lake on Dragonblight road
– Elwynn Forest near Westbrook Garrison
– Darkshore just south of the Grove of Ancients
– Durotar east of Orgrimmar Gate
– Duskwood just south of Darkshire as you are leaving town
– Dustwallow Marsh just north of Theramore
– Hillsbrad Foothills west of the Sludge Fields
– Hinterlands on the road between Aerie Peak and Quel Danil Lodge
– Silverpine Forest at Pyrewood Village
– Terrokar Forest east of Shattrath
– Uldum east of Khartut’s Tomb
– Winterspring on the hill between Everlook and Winterfall Village

Any holiday quests you are unfamiliar with should be tested before attempting with a challenger. There are also a few things that should be made note of:

– Depending on where you are in your leveling process you may need to find Zidormi to turn back time in order to complete some quests or access certain mobs and NPCs.

The Love is in the Air holiday event does have a dungeon boss, Apothecary Hummel. This dungeon boss located in Shadowfang Keep is off-limits as dungeons are NOT ALLOWED.
Sweet Treats
Sweet treats and specialty items are always a fun addition to holiday events. However, a lot of this event’s sweet treats and specialty items are against challenge rules. The following items are NOT ALLOWED due to the buffs that come along with them:
– “Bravado” Cologne
– “STALWART” Cologne
– “Wizardry” Cologne
– “Enchantress” Perfume
– “Forever” Perfume
– “VICTORY” Perfume
– Box of Chocolates
New flowers have been added. Those are NOT ALLOWED since they give some buff.

Pacifist
Several of this event’s quests and dailies involve killing mobs. The following quests have been deemed safe and are ALLOWED:

– The Gift of Relaxation (A) / The Gift of Relaxation (H)
– Getaway to Scenic Feralas (A) / Getaway to Scenic Feralas (H)
– Getaway to Scenic Grizzly Hills (A) / Getaway to Scenic Grizzly Hills: be careful, sometimes one (big) or many (small) mobs will spawn and attack. Risks of proximity kills
The following quest offers 3 choices The Gift of Self Care (A) / The Gift of Self Care (H). Not all choices have been tested for pacifist, better scout them (remember that your kill statistics might not update unless you log out).
